The Ohio Veterans Career Assistance Network (Ohio Vets CAN) was created as a partnership between AMVETS - Department of Ohio and the Ohio National Guard. Our initial interest was to create a place where members of the National Guard and Reserves could easily identify employers who value and support their service to our nation - employers who understand the demands of duty in the Guard and Reserves and are committed to easing the burden of service.

With Ohio Vets CAN, veterans, active duty troops and members of the National Guard and Reserves have the ability to identify military-friendly employers by job, company or location. These are employers who, by their past actions, have shown their support for veterans, active duty troops and members of the National Guard and Reserves. Working with other organizations, AMVETS and the Ohio National Guard work to help Ohio employers understand the value of hiring veterans and members of the Guard/Reserve. As we meet employers who have shown a commitment to being military-friendly, we invite them to post open jobs on this website and help us �spread the word� that Ohio�s best bet is to hire a vet..
